Q: Is hiring an Event Planner worth it?
A: Absolutely! The purpose of the event planner is not just to make the vision of the client a reality, but to save the client time, energy and money. It is the desire of our event planners at AVR Event Planning to keep the client stress free and allow them to enjoy the process.
Q: How do I know if I need a wedding or event planner?
A: If you are feeling overwhelmed with all the details of planning your wedding or event or perhaps you don’t know where to begin your planning, a planner can remove the stress so you won’t be overwhelmed at all, but will be able to enjoy your wedding and special event.
Q: What sort of service will I receive for hiring AVR Event Planning LLC for my wedding or special event?
A: As our client, you will receive counsel on etiquette (such as invitations, seating, etc.), feedback and critique on ideas, and we will help you stick to your budget. If need be, we will provide budget development, vendor selection, supervision, coordination. We will oversee your entire event. If you want to enjoy your wedding day or special event and for it to be stress-free, beautiful and everything you envisioned, it will only benefit you to hire AVR Event Planning LLC as your wedding or event planner.
Q: What is the difference between an event planner and a venue/site coordinator?
A: A reception site coordinator generally operates a business. Their primary responsibility start and end at the door of the venue/reception site. On the other hand, an event planner represents your specific need and wants. We are the direct contact and link between you and all your vendors, not just the venue site. Although we do appreciate and value the venue/reception site coordinators, they do provide a different function than an event planner.
Q: Many event planners work exclusively with vendors they have a working relationship with, does this mean I can’t use the vendors that I already have in mind?
A: While we at AVR Event Planning LLC have previous working relationships with certain very esteemed vendors, we have no problem working with the vendors of your choosing.
Q: On the day of the event, will you be willing to oversee the entire event by supervising vendors, troubleshooting problems and emergencies as they arise.
A: My answer is a complete and resounding “yes.” Our primary goal at AVR Event Planning LLC is to keep you calm and relaxed on your special day. We will serve as a liaison between you and the vendors and handle everything in between to make sure your event runs smoothly.
Q: What if I only need you on the day of my wedding or event?
A: If you have done all the planning for your wedding or event, we will gladly coordinate your event or wedding.
Q: What type of events do you plan?
A: Anniversaries, Baby Showers, Birthdays, Bridal Showers, Proposal Coordination, Engagement Parties, Holiday Parties, Family Reunions to name a few.
Q: What wedding planning services do you offer?
A: We offer full service planning, full service event production, event coordination, event design, event and table styling.
Q: I am concerned about being involved with the planning process and losing my vision in the process. Can I still hire a Planner and be involved?
A: Absolutely! All of our events are designed with your vision and style. It is valuable and important to us to bring out your personality in every detail. This is your event and having your input is critical. It is, however, solely up to you how much involvement you will have. We value your input and feedback.
Q: When should I hire my wedding planner?
A: From the moment you get engaged.
Q: I have a short time to plan my event, is it too late to hire an event planner?
A: No it is not to late. Of course, for events such as a wedding will be a challenge, but it can be done and we are up for the challenge. In fact, we do have packages designed for weddings to be done quickly.
Q: I am on a small budget. Can I still hire a Wedding Planner?
A: Yes you can. We have packages for those on a small budget, but will still look amazing.
Q: Will you meet with other vendors with me?
A: Yes! We can help you with the location and vendor selection.
Q: How many events do you coordinate per day?
A: We only coordinate one event per day. The coordinator assigned to you will not have any other events to distract them from your event.
Q: Do you charge for the initial consultation?
A: No! Our initial consultation is complementary. For the initial meeting, that will be a time for us to get to know each other.
Q: If hired, how much communication will we have?
A: There will be no limit on email and phone communication between us. It is our commitment to respond as quickly as possible and our policy is to respond to all messages within 24 business hours.
Q: Do you charge a flat rate for your service or a percentage based on the budget?
A: We charge a flat rate for our services that you will be well aware of from the onset of our working relationship. If you decide to add additional services, those additional services will be either priced a la carte by service or we will have the option of a set hourly rate.
Q: What will you and your staff’s attire be on the day of the event?
A: AVR Event Planning LLC staff will arrive in professional black attire.
Q: What will you and your staff be doing during the time of the event?
A: Once our duties are fulfilled we will then act as an extension of staff to the remaining vendors. For instance, if for a wedding, we will assist in whatever is needed such as with the caterers during the reception, for the cake cutting, the bouquet toss, the garter toss and we will help clear the plates or refill glasses. Ultimately, our work is never done.
